The Bureau of International Drama Festival (hereafter referred to as “we”) complies with laws and ordinances regarding the protection of personal information and will handle personal information lawfully as follows.

1. Announcement of Purpose of Use
We provide our purpose of use of personal information and our contact information before we collect personal information. We only collect personal information necessary for our purpose.
2. Acquisition of Personal Information
We collect personal information by lawful and fair means. We do not use personal information for the purpose that we did not define without customers’ consent in advance.
3. Accuracy of Personal Information
We maintain the accuracy of personal information within the scope necessary for the achievement of our purpose of use.
4. Security management and Supervision of Employees and Subcontractors
(1) We strengthen our organizational structure and implement security measures under the person in charge so as to prevent from leakage, loss and destruction of personal information.
(2) We train all employees and subcontractors in personal information protection and teach them how to properly handle personal information in our daily business activities.
(3) We, as a rule, retain personal information for 3 months after the use and then delete it completely. In case we extend the retention period, we will inform customers accordingly.
(4) When we provide subcontractors with personal information, we do so only after confirming that they have the same level or higher level of the information security than ours.
(5) When we provide subcontractors with personal information, we require them to protect personal information and supervise them in order to have them properly handle the protection of personal information.
5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
We do not provide or disclose any personal information to third parties without customers’ consent unless it is based on the laws.
6. Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, and Deletion of Personal Information
When a customer or its representative request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and deletion of personal information, we promptly respond to the request after confirming that there is no particular reason to refuse. Request and response are, as a rule, made in writing.
7. Complaint Handling and Handling of Personal Information
If a person wishes to make a complaint or a suggestion concerning the handling of personal information, he or she is requested to contact the person in charge as bellow. If leakage, loss or destruction of personal information should happen, we will swiftly make every effort to deal with it.
8. Others
We continuously review and revise our policies on the protection of personal information under relevant laws and ordinances.
